I know about the EE contracts on the beacon chain + shard state roots from posts like Phase 2 Proposal 1, Phase 2 Proposal 2, Proposed further simplifications/abstraction for phase 2
But I haven’t seen a proposal to have other, different purpose, libraries (static or not) + data stores in a global state (which includes the beacon chain). As in the above proposal with general, highly used data. Did I miss something?
By the way, I wrote A Master Shard to Account for Ethereum 2.0 Global Scope (core content is the same as the above), which concluded with a proposal for Dev Funding from a portion of the gas costs saved by caching on the Master Shard.
