In this scenario, rollups/L2s would not be required to run the side-car / adaptor as outlined below because they would (hypothetically) use the heterogeneous node architecture to run the EVM.

Yes, that’s right - in this sense, the Anoma node architecture would be an option for sequencers (or decentralized sequencers) - and one which provides a P2P network, parallel execution, and heterogeneous trust consensus (but not state-level or intent-level information flow control, which require the resource machine).

It would be the same as with current Ethereum applications, probably web3 JSON-RPC compatible.
