I am based in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. However, I am a keen traveler who has recently visited California, Florida, Georgia, London, Spain and China. Put simply, location is really not an issue for me. When in Toowoomba, I enjoy researching, writing and developing software for international teams and projects.

I am a core developer for CyberMiles (Dallas, Austin, Beijing, Shanghai, HongKong and Taipei) and am a notable GitHub contributor for the book Mastering Ethereum (Andreas M. Antonopoulos and Dr Gavin Wood).

My background:
I have in-depth knowledge and experience with Linux/Unix, C++, Bash, Python, Java, C#, XML, XSLT, JSON and more.

I specialize in blockchain implementations for businesses. A specialist in FinTech programming, my most recent project was a ~$400M C++ data migration exercise for local government.

My work evolves around finding extraordinary solutions to complex problems. I am a celebrated mentor of the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) program and have enjoyed being a guest of Google Inc. I have enjoyed spending time in Silicon Valley collaborating with software developers from around the globe. In 2015, I was named as an AMP Tomorrow Maker, sharing in the $1M grant.

I recently achieved confirmation of candidature in the Doctor of Professional Studies Program at The University of Southern Queensland (USQ). I more recently completed a blockchain for business course (Hyperledger), provided by The Linux Foundation, I am now completing a computer science and programming course provided by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

I remain an eager contributor to the open source software community.
